Welcome to Poppins’ Childcare. My name is Sarah Abbott and I work as both a flexible daytime nanny and as an evening babysitter. I provide childcare with or without a fixed term contract, as well as running a childcare database . Caring for children is something that I had wanted to do from a young age, I enjoy giving the children in my care that balance between education and play something my training as both a Nursery nurse and a Montessori Teacher helps me to do.

I have been in childcare for 19 years, working as a mothers help, in nurseries, and as a nanny. I have worked with children varying in age from premature twins to sixteen years. I am also experienced in caring for multiple births.

I am enormously caring and patient, and understand as a mother myself, that it is only natural for parents to be a little concerned when allowing someone to care for their children, so by working closely with you I hope to listen to any concerns you may have in order to provide a calm and happy environment for your children as well as giving continuity and peace of mind that your children are in safe hands.

I am available both as a daily flexible nanny and as babysitter in the evenings, having a flexible nanny allows you to choose when you need childcare. I will ensure that the children’s normal routine is not disrupted.
